More than 25 years of experience in the oil & gas, hydroelectric, LNG, refinery, petrochemical, and power industries.  Duties included making integrated schedules for EPC projects and controlling them during FEED, detailed engineering, procurement and construction.  Proficient with P6.8.2 and Netpoint software. Good skills in coordinating Interactive Planning sessions, elaborating EPC Schedules with different levels of detail, good teaching, supervising and Teamwork.

·               Senior Lead Planner Scheduler, Leader of 3 schedulers in a EDCP (East Domestic Crude Plant project)

       This project is an addition of a new 150,000 BPSD Crude Unit to be installed in the Flint       Hills Corpus Christi East Plant refinery in Corpus Christi. Additionally, as a result of the new crude slate to be processed, several adjustments were made to the downstream process arrangement. These are: new Naphtha Stabilizer of the Hydrobon Unit. Installation of a new LPG treatment facility. Other of these adjustments is the restart of the currently idle Isomerate Splitter and the BTX revamp. Finally the Offsite portion included new storage tanks, spheres and pumps. Responsibilities included Developing Phase 2, 3 (FEED) and Phase 4(Detail Engineering and Procurement cycle detailing by REQ number) Schedules, updating, analyzing results of update and impact of change orders, Reporting and giving alerts and recommendations. Working with P6.8.2 program in the client database.

 

·               Senior Lead Planner Scheduler, HYDROCRACKER REACTORS REPLACEMENT

This project consisted in the replacement of the existing Unit Reactors and extension of all required infrastructure to the new reactors location including: piping, instrumentation, pipe rack, utilities, etc., new addition of Heat Exchangers The project will install the new piling, foundations, table top, new reactors stair with a goal of completing all activities pre-TA. Responsibilities included Developing Phase 3 and Phase 4 Schedules, updating, analyzing results of update and impact of change orders, Reporting and giving alerts and recommendations. Working with P6.8.2 program in the client database.

 

—              Senior Lead Planner Scheduler, Caustic Line Replacement – Conceptual Phase, Shell, Deer Park, Texas.  Responsibilities included developing schedule.

 

—              Senior Lead Planner Scheduler, Crude Expansion Project, HTU-5, Motiva, Port Arthur, Texas.  Responsibilities included developing detail engineering schedule, updating and reporting

—              Senior Planner/Scheduler Engineer, Gathering’s 150 MMSCFD Gas Processing Plant Project, Enbridge, Allison, Texas.  Scope included detailed engineering and procurement.  Responsibilities included developing schedule at level III of detail engineering and procurement of equipment; controlled project by updating the schedule bi-weekly; progress reports indicating physical progress; change orders control; all using Primavera P 6.2.

 

—              Senior Planner/Scheduler / Controller, 120 MMSCFD Cryogenic Gas Expansion Project, Chisholm Gas Processing, Fayette County, Texas.  Scope included processing plant, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction. Responsibilities included developing schedule at level III for detail engineering, procurement of equipment, and construction; controlling project by updating the schedule bi-weekly; progress reports indicating physical progress; change orders control; all using Primavera P 6.2

 

—              Senior Planner/Scheduler, 800 MMSCFD Cryogenic Gas Processing Plant, Energy Transfer Company (ETC), Jackson County, Texas.  Scope included detailed engineering and procurement. Responsibilities included developing the schedule at level III for detail engineering and procurement of equipment; controlling project by updating the schedule bi-weekly; progress reports indicating physical progress; change orders control; all using Primavera P 6.2. The Procurement schedule was done detailing by REQ and following up the delivery of vendor drawings accordingly the corresponding modeling area, this permitted an accurate schedule for ISOS issue. The Equipment delivery was scheduled and followed up by area and tag number accordingly the dates required at site. 

 

—              Senior Planner/Scheduler, Kingston-Battlefield Project Phase II, Enterprise, Texas. Scope included detailed engineering, procurement, and construction of a chemical plant.  Responsibilities included schedule for detail engineering, procurement, and construction at level III; progress reports indicating physical progress; all using Primavera P 6.2

—              Senior Planner/Scheduler Engineer, Ras Tanura Integrated Project – FEED Stage, Dow/Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia. There are several Petrochemical and Refinery Units integrating the complex on a green field. Responsibilities included scheduling, controlling, and reporting on five of the petrochemical plants using P 6.2 and making follow up of Licensors.

—              Construction Planner/Scheduler, Art Studios Building, Florida International University.  Responsibilities included schedule and control of a construction at level III; progress reports indicating physical progress; all using MS Project.

LA ELECTRICIDAD DE CARACAS

 

—              Senior Planner/Scheduler, Sloped Lands Stabilization Project, Substation Pedrera. C.A. La Electricidad de Caracas, La Trinidad, Caracas, Venezuela.  Responsibilities included supporting bidding process, project planning and control, elaborating progress reports to management, design of control procedures for subcontractors, control of subcontractors.

 

—              Senior Planner/Scheduler, High and Low Tension Network Plans Digitalization, C.A. La Electricidad de Caracas, Caracas, Venezuela.  Scope included field survey and digitalization of electrical and civil infrastructure of the distribution network of whole Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities included supporting bidding process, project planning and control, elaborating progress reports to management, design of control procedures for subcontractors, control of subcontractors.

 

—              Senior Planner/Scheduler, Substation Expansion and Upgrade, Longa España.  Scope included procurement of a new transformer.  Responsibilities included supporting bidding process, project planning and control, elaborating progress reports to management, design of control procedures for subcontractors, control of subcontractors.

 

—              Senior Planner/Scheduler, 230/69 kV Encapsulated Transformation Train inside the S/E Pedrera Installation. Scope included increasing the total installed capacity.  Responsibilities included supporting bidding process, project planning and control, elaborating progress reports to management, design of control procedures for subcontractors, control of subcontractors.

 

MARSHALL Y ASOCIADOS

 

—              Planner/Scheduler, Modular Prefabricated Gas Compression Plants (6), Offshore Platforms, PDVSA, Maracaibo Lake, Venezuela. Responsibilities included preparing an integrated schedule for the six compression plants including detail engineering, procurement, and fabrication of modules, controlling progress during the three stages, expediting control on manufacturers and suppliers.

 

—              Planner/Scheduler, NURGAS (New Venezuelan 30” diameter Gas Pipeline Network, PDVSA, Venezuela. Responsibilities included schedule and control of detailed engineering, responsible for design procedures for control of subcontractors and progress control of 3 subcontractors selected. It was used the project planning and control system Artemis main frame integrating scheduling and cost control.

 

NOUEL INGENIEROS

 

—              Planner/Scheduler, LNG Marine Terminal, Jose Cryogenic Complex, PDVSA, Eastern Venezuela. Scope included detailed engineering, loading dock with a 40 x 50 m platform, and a 191,300 m access trestle. Responsibilities included scheduling, project controls (physical progress and cost control), productivity, M-H control, progress reports.

 

—              Planner/Scheduler, Uribante – Caparo Hydroelectric Complex, CADAFE, Venezuela.  Scope included master plan development stages (3) of the facilities of the which covered 3 hydroelectric power generation plants, 4 dams and 3 water basins. Responsibilities included starting operations using new schedule software. Developing schedule and performing activities of progress control and control of M-H.

 

TECNOCONSULT

 

—              Planner/Scheduler, Project Uribante – Caparo – Third Stage, CADAFE, Venezuela.  Scope included raising two earth dams, each about 130 m high, one common water basin, and a 771.000 kW capacity hydroelectric power plant. Responsibilities included starting operations using new schedule software; developing schedule and performing activities of progress control and control of M-H.
